SINGAPORE, March 18, 2026 – InvestaX today announced the launch of Pegasus 2, a tokenized maritime financing offering by Galactica, issued and distributed through InvestaX's regulated and compliant RWA platform. The offering follows the successful close of Pegasus 1, a 145,000 CBM LNG ship bridge financing completed earlier this year through the same structuring and infrastructure.
Pegasus 1 demonstrated how maritime assets can be financed through a regulated on-chain rail while maintaining structures familiar to institutional investors. Building on that momentum, Pegasus 2 introduces the next issuance in Galactica’s maritime financing strategy on the InvestaX platform.
Expanding Access to Maritime Financing
Pegasus 2 is structured as a short-term bridge financing opportunity linked to maritime assets in Indonesia, one of the world’s largest shipping markets. According to Clarksons Research and UNCTAD, Indonesia accounts for approximately 10.8 percent of the world’s registered vessels and relies heavily on maritime transport across its archipelagic geography.
Despite the scale of the sector, shipowners often face delays in securing bank financing for vessel acquisitions. Bridge financing by professional investors can help address this gap by providing capital while longer-term funding arrangements are finalized.
Through Pegasus 2, the financing is structured as a digital security token issued through regulated tokenization infrastructure. Investors gain exposure to a maritime financing instrument offering a target return of up to 10 percent per annum, with short investment periods of 120 days.
The offering is led by Galactica, a joint venture supported by PT Pelayaran Korindo, an Indonesian shipping company with decades of operational experience, and Kaia, a blockchain infrastructure provider active across Asia’s digital asset ecosystem. InvestaX provides the regulated issuance and distribution platform through which qualified investors can access the offering.
